About The Event

Following the tragic loss of her daughter Nicole in 2012, Julie Fitzsimons became the driving force behind the Nicole Fitzsimons Foundation — created to honour Nicole’s passion for the performing arts and sport.

What began as a mother’s mission soon became a legacy of its own, as Julie dedicated herself to supporting young performers and athletes to pursue their dreams.

After the shocking loss of Julie in 2025, the Foundation was renamed to honour both women whose lives touched so many.

Now, through the Nicole & Julie Fitzsimons Foundation, their shared spirit continues to empower young people to chase their goals with courage, purpose, and heart.

The Performance

Experience captivating performances of ballet, contemporary dance, musical theatre, and live singing by talented artists who have received Foundation grants or whose lives have been directly touched by Nicole’s legacy and Julie’s belief in them.

Post-Concert Reception

Following the performance, guests are invited to join the Fitzsimons family in the foyer for refreshments as the celebration continues.
